Our Story: How We Became the Mommy-Daughter Duo

When I started Meristic, my handmade jewelry business, Aurora was just a baby. I was a new single mom, creating jewelry as a way to bring beauty, inspiration, and healing into our lives. She’d always be right there with me, tucked under the table on a pillow at craft fairs, taking in all the colors and creativity around us.

As she grew, Aurora naturally found her own voice in our journey. She’d say, “Mommy, why don’t you make your jewelry more shiny and colorful?” Her ideas inspired me, and I encouraged her to bring her own designs to life. Now, her unique style shines through in her colorful bracelets, bookmarks, and other creations—all filled with the same optimism and positivity that’s woven into every piece.

Together, we build this business as a bond between us and a way to give back. For every piece we make, we hope to inspire and bring joy, knowing the power a kind word or small reminder can hold. And beyond our creations, we’re committed to supporting the Earth. Every purchase plants a tree, and, fittingly, Aurora’s love of frogs inspired us to support frog conservation too.
